The answer is yes, because most people, when they're doing a water or juice fast, will lose approximately a pound a day. That's a lot of weight relative to anything else you might be doing to lose weight. However, a couple of caveats. When you do colon cleansing, you will lose a pound a day and then some, and it will stay off.
