9 Reasons Why 'Game Of Thrones' Season 8 Was A Huge Disappointment
bran did nothing this season like nothing !
Irish Technical Thinker
I stopped watching after season 1. Absolutely awful. Glad I didn't watch it. Funny to read comments of people's lives melting over it.

The only think with which I disagreed in this analysis - was the death of Jamie and Cersei - the collapsing of the castle on her - symbolizing all her plans collapsing on her and Jamie. Yes - it probably could have been more, but it seemed reasonable.
Před 9 dny
Agreed, I thought I wouldn't agree, because I didn't wanna believe but what u are saying is so true.
Před 12 dny
I understand all the points raised here but somehow I'm not THAT disappointed as the rest of the world.
Před 15 dny
I just watched the final episode. I have to recover from it. I am so disappointed.

y ahora que? nos quedamos con el amargo trago de este final :(

I wonder why nobody made a video that explains why season 8 was so bad......😂
Před 16 dny
Shitty writing made by people who had no idea how to end it.
Před 16 dny
I disagree altogether. You’re an idiot.

When Season 1 of Game Of Thrones was first put on the air waves people weren't really sold on the premise of the Writers, Directors, and Producers, Fantasy world. I would say after Season 3 this show became a Fantasy Fictions Fans Dream come true.....When Season 5 and 6 came along I guess the Egotistical Fan base thought they themselves could write, Direct and act better than the cast and crew themselves.....Season 7 and 8 the neurosis grew leaps and bounds to the point of total disgust and malicious hatred Towards a project "THE FANS" they themselves could not control....That in itself is a dangerous slippery slope....Sound familiar to anyone out there?????

The animal (dragon) understood that these people are fighting for that Chair , so he burned it... Animals r better than humans...😅

When arya was coming to kil night king the whole white walker was forget to protect night king
Před 27 dny
Y did they rush.. We wouldn't have minded watching sn 9😅😅

It's not fair at all to end such a big TV show that way.... It's indeed a great disappointment...

I hated it that Arya killed the night king
Was I the only one who thought that Jon should have never rode rheagal
Your last face was exactly my face when the season 8 was over.
Glad I literally didn't watch a single episode of Game of Thrones. Seriously
It really was awful. Just horribly, indescribably terrible.
Hahah nice breakdown. I liked the serie though. And agree with your points.
Just got done watching this. I thought people were exaggerating how bad it was. They weren't... Easily the worse season of the show.
Arya, Sam, Bran, Tyrion and Sansa should have died in episode 3 of season 8. They all seemed to have built up moments leading to inevitable death and yet they just survive. Would have been better if the Night King actually won and the remaining survivors had to flee South resulting in a Night King vs Kingslanding vs Jon and Dany Survivors battle.
*Corporate Social Engineering* has been successful in convincing some "Fans/Customers" that Season 8 was a logically written story and those who disagree are idiots. Mind controlled *Sheep* , convinced they are independent thinking *Wolves* , by design to protect corporate interest.
Who has a better story than Bran? Everybody Season 8 was unforgivable
As frustrating as Jamie's return to Cersei was, I thought that it was quite true to GOT's brand - doing the thing the audience least expects. Jamie was originally the proof that people can change but his character reverting towards his earlier seasons' self shows how sometimes it isn't permanent. It should've taken longer for his ark to be reversed but I feel that it was sort of a reaction to the circumstances. They all handled it differently and it turns out that Jamie wasn't as strong or altruistic as he once appeared. Cersei always had that power over him and the thought of losing her and their baby was enough to remind him of his devotion to her their entire life.
The dragon queen is look like real queen until season 7 and 8some episode but last episode is worst ending
Petition to delete this season and remake a new one! With 10 episodes.
Cersei should have dealt been before knight king
For me, the worst of it was how the character arcs were rendered moot by the end. All those plot points abandoned for a rushed ending. I'm especially upset by Jon, Jaime, and Daenerys, who became unrecognizable in favor of tying up all loose ends.

"Winter has lasted more than five years!" Lasted literally 2 days
At least we have seven great seasons. Actually, let's just pretend season 7 is the last one, and season 8 doesn't exist. Works for me.
is it diplo?
John should have been king 👑 He had the best clam to it and he was best for the throne
#8 is so spot on
Two of my issues with GoT season 8 that weren't mentioned, would be the lack of direwolves and all the fan service that was used.
I was scared I was the only person who felt this way. The actors were great. The books are breathtaking. It was the last 2 seasons that didnt play out well for me. I cant wait for the next book!!!
Journey of My Life
It was totally shit in ep6 when dany die Really Dissappointed just for this
What a waste after nearly 2 years in waiting for the final season.. What we got only garbage storyline..too many loopholes
Super Saiyan 3
there are so many more unrealistic things that happened you didn't mention.
Super Saiyan 3
shit story ending
Super Saiyan 3
jaimes story arch was the worst misdirection
I believe the producers can't allow themselves to deliver FULLFILLING content and keep TV consumers entirely happy with their favorite show. You need some frustration. Remember the entertainment isn't here to provide you with amazing content, it's here to make sure you're buying the next shitty product. If people are used to a certain standard which Game of Thrones could have been if the ending wasn't so horrible, then it's going to become even harder to please and sell your products. If you want to push viewers to the new content, which is the most important thing, you can't have them rewatching old stuff. The solution? Do a shitty ending and burn everything, and the writers did just that. Anyway I may not express all of this very well, but this shitty ending was obviously very deliberate and for business reasons which are going deeper than just finishing in a hurry.
Is that true that season 9 is coming....
My problem is they gave us all this history, and storylines that meant nothing. What was the significance of the crypts at winterfell? Why must there always be a stark in winterfell? Who sent the catspaw dagger after Bran? Who was Craster? And why were his sons turned into white walkers? Why did Gilly and Baby Sam survive when they had no purpose? Why was Beric resurrected so many times? Couldn't Melissandra resurrect him too? Why was Jon resurrected? Why did the Starks even have direwolves? What was the song of ice and fire? What was Bran doing during the battle? Why was bran the three eyed raven? Why couldnt he be lord of winterfell? Why did Tyrion, who was just in jail, get to make a speech and choose the king, wtf?? Why did grey worm even have a say at all? Dany had just destroyed a whole city, killed the queen, etc, and Jon is punished for killing Dany? Why? It was ok for Dany to kill Cersei, but no one can kill Dany? How does that make sense? Why didnt Bran pardon Jon? Why didnt Sansa go up against Cersei, that would make more sense than Dany. Why didnt Sansa and the Hound have a better reunion? All of the reunions were underplayed with little to no dialogue. After we had been waiting to see them for years. Why was Jon's secret revealed off screen?? Wtf? It was one of the most important scenes! Turns out, it meant nothing, like everything else. Not one storyline, not one had a payoff. Everything we'd been trying to figure out for YEARS meant nothing, had no payoff. No answers. We watched for nothing. I feel completely betrayed and cheated. What happened to all the magic in the show? The night king was created with magic, he should've died through magic. I truly believe they sabotaged the show on purpose. Why else would it be THIS BAD? It like it was written by someone who'd never watched the show. They should've gotten the people who helped write "the world of ice and fire." They know everything about the show and books. They should write an alternate ending .
I think I can think of more than nine. You would think games of thrones was too good to mess up. Turns out, not so much.
Forgiving Bron makes sense, that’s how his relationship with Tyrion works... Plus the wall is made of ice so it makes sense that fire melts it, and i guess the dragon fire can break through walls with momentum but not necessarily without it
Now im glad i never bothered with got lol
VIKKEFAR The Bunny
i totally have seen a lot of pics and clips with that coffee cup. but i checked this morning again and again but could not see it. i think that hbo have ficsed it.

Am I the only one who is wondering why there weren’t hundreds of people in the production of the series who told Dumb&Dumber during the making that it has to be changed. I mean, how can it happen that so much people worked on such a horrible scenario. I’m just... disappointed... epic, i don’t now one of those.
From what I've heard, D&D were pretty much surrounded by "yes men" throughout the entirety of the non-adaptation part of the show. The *_only_* time HBO interfered was when the management changed and the "behind the scenes" clip for the finale was removed (presumably because of how asinine the writers sounded).

That's the reason why Bryce Walker died
Who else's initial response was "he managed to cut it down to 9?!"?
I totally agree with you in all points! Hated how Jon Snow was treated ! Useless ending ! All for nothing
Night king: killed by one stab in the knee The Mountain: stabbed in the neck and in the eye yet survives, needs to be killed by being thrown from a high tower.
Bells use « madness » on Daenerys. It’s very effective...
It might be a disappointment for you, over expectations, not for me. I just took it as a show, and hence didn't disappointed. U all idoits are disappointed bcoz the show didn't turned out the way you wanted it.😏
@Awesome that's just why you think. Not everybody.
If it means nothing... why watch it? It could have ended any way and i would have loved it. It didnt end. Nothing was truly answered and nothing made sense. Its over... but it never ended.
God forbid the audience have some expectations like basic logical consistency or any semblance of coherent storytelling whatsoever. It's not like the first five seasons had that.
I do agree. The actors and actresses were absolutely without any doubt superb; every one of them. The casting was the best I have ever seen in anything I have watched. But the story writing since, going it alone without the books for frame of reference.. it just felt too slow paced for too long with just a few little moments of excitement and anticipation for what was going to come, sprinkled in and then fast forward to season 8 and everything was happpening at such speed, that it could not be anything else to anybody who loved GOT, but disappointing for the potential that was missed. It was just too rushed. If any programme deserved to go on for extra seasons it was this one. Too many programmes go on and on and not because of fresh new content or ideas, but this one had so much more to offer.. I think I share the same feeling as some of the reviewers here when I say that I think this programme should have had 2 more seasons to really finish the story telling. But that is just my selfish view as a fan of the show.. I did love the ending for the Stark Family. It was nice to see things work out (mostly) for them after everything they had been through.
